I wish I had more money this Christmas. I know Christmas isn't about what you can buy but let's face it when the only gift your child asks for is a microwave and you have already spent all of your money on everything else, you want your child to find a microwave under the tree on the 25th.
I wish I has memorized, "The night before Christmas". It's an American tradition and I don't know the words - lucky for me I found a board book of the story for $1.00 at Target.
I wish I could snap my fingers and have the outside and inside of the house decorated. It must be frustrating for them to have me in and out of the playroom and house, when what they really want is to play with me on the floor.
I wish I could have 'our chef' cook the Christmas dinner. It also takes hours to plan the menu, shop for the ingredients, prepare the meal, run back out to the store for the one item you forgot, finish the meal and serve the meal. Again, precious hours I could spend with two B's.
Most of all I wish the magic of Christmas, my son is just starting to learn, would live in their hearts forever. Never again, at any other time of year will I be able to get him to nap and go to bed on time - all because he is afraid Santa won't stop at our home and bring his microwave.
May you have all the money, time and magic needed to have the bestest Christmas ever!
Merry Christmas from three Bs and one E.
